As
I only take small parties I don't offer scheduled trips, rather... you
contact me, discuss what you would like to do and book the boat.
For the wildlife
enthusiast, the Moray Firth is famously rich in life above and below
the water and a cruise on the "Sue J" can offer some excellent
sightings.
The
Moray Firth is home to the northernmost colony of Bottlenose Dolphins
in the UK. While sightings of these fantastic creatures can never
be guaranteed as they range widely, from Inverness to Fraserburgh, there
is always a chance of spotting them.
With a little bit
of luck they may even be indulging in some acrobatics!

Minke whales are often
seen in the Moray Firth. Indeed, in 2007 my wife & I were out quietly
fishing one summer's afternoon when a Minke surfaced without warning about
40 feet away from us!
Sun Fish and basking
sharks are occasional visitors. Of course there is always the chance of
seeing something new. Grey and common seals are often be seen.

If it's sea birds
you want then Troup Head, home to the only mainland gannet colony in
Scotland, is only around 7nm to the east of Banff. During the summer
months the towering cliffs play host to over 150,000 breeding seabirds
and you’ll see large numbers of gannets, fulmars, kittiwakes,
guillemots and puffins too.

When the sea air
has worked up an appetite, there's nothing better for supper on a summers
evening than a fresh fish you have caught that day. Whether you want
to do a dedicated fishing trip or perhaps just have a quick go towards
the end of your cruise, it's no problem.
"Sue J"
carries basic tackle for general sea angling which is available free
of charge to guests.

Cruise the beautiful
coastline, bring a picnic to enjoy on-board, look for dolphins, watch
the sea birds or go fishing.... the choice, or any combination is yours
whether it's for an hour, two hours or longer.
Charter fees for
2008 (5 guests maximum.) All trips are weather dependant.

and I don't clock watch too closely!
It's your
holiday.... Go on... treat yourself!
